HSE aims to become a full-fledged player in the international academic community. We realize that achieving this goal is possible only when faculty and students – our primary resource – see themselves as part of the international academic world. The Office of Internationalisation strives to create a friendly environment in our University that allows internationally and locally recruited faculty, staff and students to share a common language in all senses of this expression!
We see our main tasks as the following:
- providing services that help international colleagues and students integrate smoothly into academic life at HSE
- sharing experience with our colleagues: we collaborate with other administrative units in order to suggest ways to improve ineffective procedures that we encounter in our work with international faculty and students
- promoting an integrated academic environment with English as a shared language of communication: a big part of our work is devoted to creating and maintaining English language information channels
